Democratic Presidential Debates 2020

The Second Debates

The second debates are Tuesday, July 30, 2010 and Wednesday, July 31, 2019. After the first debates, Senator Kamala Harris received a bump in poll rankings because of her prosecutorial debate style that attacked Joe Biden’s past political positioning related to school busing and integration. In the second debate, Senator Harris will more than likely try to continue prosecuting Biden’s political past to showcase how she is the better candidate for the job of President of the United States. Unlike the first debate, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren will be on the same stage, which should give them a chance to politically spar against each other. Both Sanders and Warren have passionate debate styles similar to their stump speeches. In the first debate, Kamala Harris used the race card to come at Biden, however, in the second debate she will be joined by other candidates of color (Booker and Castro), so I’m curious to see how this will play out. Will they all try to bash Biden and his old, White man image? Will they try to paint him as out of touch despite his political record that demonstrates he is on the side of civil and equal rights?
